Cold applied coating adhesive tape: Polyethylene is used as the base material, which is coated by the liquid butyl rubber film, both of which are pressed and compounded. It is mainly used on underground, underwater and overhead pipelines. This tape provides a permanent bond to the primed steel pipes' surface and provides protection against chemical electrolytic corrosion for underground and off-shore pipelines.
Polyethylene adhesive tape: This is made of polyethylene film heat laminated with an adhesive layer of butyl glue. It is extensively used in the pipework of oil and natural gas transportation, petrochemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, and urban natural gas network pipes.
Low density polyethylene film tape: synthetic rubber-based adhesive remains permanently tacky and bonds well to most surfaces over a wide range of temperatures, with excellent low temperature bond. Tough polyethylene backings offer good abrasion and tear resistance. It is highly conformable, waterproof and resistant to chemical deterioration.
Polyethylene tape can be used for:
1. General sealing of containers and irregularly shaped objects
2. Electroplating and PC board masking
3. Silicon chip holding
4. Decoration, safety marking and color coding
5. Nuclear power plant construction and maintenance (because of low chloride and halogen content)
6. Corrosion-sensitive applications (because of low chloride and halogen content)
7. Outdoor applications of sealing, protecting, and preserving
8. Polyethylene tape is flexible, abrasion- and chemical-resistant and easy to clean.
